24 Hour Dartathon in aid of Eden Valley Hospice

The members of the Edwin Chapter recently held a  24 hour "dartathon" to raise funds for a local charity - The Eden Valley Hospice.
All the members took part and were sponsored by family and friends.

The event started at 6pm on Friday night opened by Chapter Director Allan Stevenson and the darts playing continued until 6pm on Saturday.

Some of the members were extremely enthusiastic
when they managed to hit the dartboard and some
just got carried away with the excitement of the
evening.

Rob couldn't believe his luck when he finally won a
game after losing ten in a row.

But for some the pace just got too much
and the chance to relax could not be
resisted.  It was a well deserved rest for
  those that had earned it.

A great night was had by all and the Eden Valley Hospice recieved a cheque for £1,229.00 on Friday 11th September 2009.  This was a great way for the leadership team to bow out and to pass the baton on to Alistair Richards and his team for the next six months.
